If you are reading this, you are well aware of the challenges facing our smaller congregations. Decreasing membership, increasing expenses and infrastructural deterioration are among the challenges we all face. The Missions Committee believes it would be helpful to have a time to get together to talk about our common challenges and future opportunities.

This will not be an instructive seminar, but rather an opportunity for a sharing of ideas. We plan generally to address brick and mortar challenges as well as worship and liturgical priorities within the context of exploring our identity; who we are called to be and what emerging vision of the church we share.

We intend this gathering to be a starting point and to be a source of hope. (We also intend it to be an inexpensive and restful time together!)
