St. Nicholas' Ascension Day Celebration

St Nicholas' invited Grace Presbyterian and Midland Lutheran churches to join us for an Ascension Day celebration. This fun evening also celebrated the end of the Sunday School year with kites, pinwheels, paper airplanes, and bubbles in the courtyard. A balloon artist and a face painter rounded out the family fun. The menu complimented the theme: wings and angel food cake! We finished the evening by hearing the story of Jesus' ascension into heaven and praying Compline.
